We, participants of the round table on “Islam: Tolerance, Peace and Anti-Violence” in conjunction with the terrorist attacks in Moscow, Kizlyar  and Karabulak on 29, 31 March and 5 April 2010, hereby state

With regard to the recent terrorist attacks in Moscow, the European Muslim Union Foundation declares the following statement:

The news of the tragic recent events, the terrorist suicide bombings in the heart of Moscow, has stricken us with indignation and great distress

The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited Moscow Cathedral mosque

Within the framework of the official visit to Moscowof the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Dr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu a meeting will take place with the chairman of Russia Mufties Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin. At the meeting Kamil Iskhakov the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federationin OIC will take part.

The meeting will take place in the residence of Russia Mufties Council at 11 a.m.
