Moscow International Qur'an Reciting Competition is recognized as one of the best contests of its kind in the Muslim world and was as thus honoured with a special award.
With the blessings of the spiritual leader of Russia's Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, a delegation of Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation headed by RMC and SAM RF first deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov and the director of International relations department Ildar Galeev is taking part in 19th Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award 2015. Representatives of Russia became honourable guests of the event.
During the event, Chairman of the Directorate of Culture and Arts of Dubai sheikh Mansur Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award, advisor of the Ruler of Dubai on cultural and humanitarian issues Ibrahim Boumelha awarded a diploma to Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, recognizing the high level of the organization of Moscow Qur'an Reciting Competition.
The competition was organized more than 15 years ago under the patronage of the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin. It is annually attended by more than 35 Qur'an reciters from different countries.
This year, the contest will be organized at Moscow's largest exhibition hall, Crocus City Hall, on October 11.
An all-Russian elimination round for the contest will take place on July 15 in the unique social and charitable event of RMC and SAM RF, the Ramadan Tent.
