Mawlid an-Nabi in Crocus City Hall On January 24, Moscow's largest Crocus City Hall will host an ambitious annual celebration "Mawlid an-Nabi: A Dialogue with Soul" devoted to the birth of the blessed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), a greatest historical figure of VI century that left immense historical legacy to the humankind.

The theatrical performance will bring the audience fourteen centuries back, unveiling the dramatic story of our contemporary, and will guide it through the depths of a human soul.

For the first time in the history of the event, lead role will be played by film and theatre actor Marat Basharov. It will also feature Shamil Alyautdinov, while screenwriter and director Renat Abyanov will perform a musical piece he authored─a very poetic and distinctive one. More than 40 professional performers, including the finalist of the Golos TV project Saida Muhametzyanova, will take part in the celebration.

Mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin will approach the media before the event. Among the featured guests of this year's Mawlid an-Nabi are the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

It is expected that Mawlid an-Nabi will bring together people in the city of Ufa, capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well.

About 7,000 people are expected to witness the impressive spectacle and touch upon the mystery of creation and spiritual quest of the hero who learned the wisdom, clarity and beauty of eternal values uniting all humankind.

"Would you dare to peek into where the good and evil constantly shape the fate? What will triumph: hope or despair, reason or sin? Ask your own soul!" is the motto of the coming event.
