United Nations Forum on Minority Issues will take place in the Palace of Nations in Geneve, Switzerland, between November 26 and 27, 2013.

The sixth session of the United Nations Forum on Minority Issues with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights will open in the Palace of Nations in Geneve, Switzerland, on November 26. This session of the forum will be devoted to the topic "Next stage in guaranteeing freedom of religion and conscience: guaranteeing the rights of religious minorities."

Spiritual Administration of Muslims of European Russia will be represented in the forum by its deputy chairman Damir hazrat Muhetdinov. He will deliver the report "Encouragement of constructive interfaith dialogue, consultations and exchange."

This session of the forum will be devoted to working out specific measures and recommendations aimed at guaranteeing rights and ensuring safety of religious minorities. Priority will be given to determining positive and effective measures of governments around the world of providing safety and guaranteeing the rights of minority religious groups. Particular attention will be paid to the development of the processes of dialogue, understanding and constructive exchange of views between religious majority and minority groups.
