The website of the Government of the Russian Federation posted a new distribution of responsibilities approved by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Deputy Prime Minister, Vladislav Surkov  will be responsible in the government for a number of national projects and policies in the field of modernization and innovation, culture, demography, tourism, and cooperation with religious organizations. Vladislav Y. Surkov, coordinates the work of federal executive authorities and gives them instructions on the implementation of priority national projects (except for the national project on agriculture) and the modernization of education, health, social welfare of citizens, affordable and comfortable housing.

Vladislav Surkov coordinates the authorities’ work on issues of culture and art, science and innovation, including the development and use of the GLONASS system.

V. Surkov is also responsible for coordination of issues of state regulation in the field of youth policy, population policy, tourism development and cooperation with religious organizations.
