Courses of basic Russian as a foreign language are starting at Moscow Islamic University. The program focuses on students who haven't studied Russian before or speak it at an elementary level.

The goals of the studies are:
— Correction of pronunciation and intonation;
— Development of reading, speaking, listening and writing skills;
— Studying grammar base of Russian language up till the first certified level of state standards for Russian language;
— Learning everyday words;
— Cultural and national studies for faster adaptation in a new place.

After passing the final test, students will receive official certificate of government test of Russian language.
