A meeting between Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and the deputy minister, director of foreign relations department of Turkey Mehmet Paçacı took place in the residency of Russia Muftis Council.

The meeting was also attended by the first deputy chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of European Russia Damir hazrat Gizatullin, deputy chairman Rafik Fattahetinov, deputy head of RMC administration Renat hazrat Abyanov, Director of the Department of Cultural and Religious Affairs of Turkey Hüseyin Yılmaz, member of theological faculty Hakun Olgun, specialist on religious affairs of foreign relations department Omar Faruk Savuran, officer of foreign relations department Şevki Isot, religious affairs advisor of the Turkish embassy Fahri Saglık and advisor Turhan Dilmaç.

During the meeting, mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin told of his fruitful visit to Crimea in late March of this year. The parties also discussed the construction stages of Moscow Jum'ah Mosque which will open in 2016.

Head of Russia Muftis Council expressed his confidence that the cooperation between the Council and the Ministry will help strengthen relations between our countries.

In the end of the meeting, Russian and Turkish members of the meeting agreed to continue their cooperation.
