A meeting between deputy chairman of Russia Muftis Council Rushan hazrat Abbyasov and extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Mr Yousef al-Zajali took place in the Omani embassy in Moscow.

The meeting was also attended by the head of International department of Russia Muftis Council Ildar hazrat Galeev.

During the meeting, parties discussed issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation, noting the high level of relations between Russia Muftis Council and the Sultanate of Oman in recent years. Rushan hazrat Abbyasov briefly told of the recent activities and events organized by Russia Muftis Council.

The parties also agreed on the importance of developing cooperation in social and outreach campaigns and projects that would demonstrate society real Islamic values.

In the end of the meeting, parties reached an agreement on further cooperation.
