Director of the international relations department of International Centre of Standardization and Certification "Halal" Samat Sadykov visited Mevlana Development Agency.

During the meeting with the secretary general of the agency Mr Ahmet Akman and the specialist on investments and halal sector supervisor Mr Arif Köseoğlu they have shaped up a plan for future cooperation in the sphere of halal industry.

It is worthwhile to note that Mevlana Development Agency is a long-time partner of Russia Muftis Council, and it took part in this year's Moscow Halal Expo, while the agency's representative Mr Arif Köseoğlu took part in the investment section of Moscow Halal Congress, where he told about the potential of his region and and prospects of doing business in Konya.

After the agency, Samat effendi visited the Muftiate of Konya, where he met with a number of deputy muftis of Konya.

Turkish religious figures warmly welcomed their guest from Russia. In their talks with Samat effendi they expressed their hopes for continued cooperation and future common projects, and asked him to convey their warm greetings to mufti sheikh Ravil hazrat Gaynutdin and all the staff of Russia Muftis Council.

In the end of the meeting, Mr Arif Köseoğlu presented Samat effendi with a copy of Holy Qur'an with Turkish translation.
