Extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Kuwait in Russian Federation Mr Nasser al-Muzayan was awarded with medal for spiritual unity: “For significant contribution in spreading cultural and spiritual traditions of Islam, selfless service to the Muslim Ummah, development of dialogue and cooperation between Russia and Kuwait”.

Head of Kuwaiti diplomatic mission was awarded by deputy chairman of Russia Muftis Council Rushan hazrat Abbyasov on behalf of spiritual leader of Russia’s Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

The ceremony was also attended by head of RMC’s International Department Ildar Galeev and second secretary of Kuwaiti embassy Jamal al-Rifai.

During the years of his service as an ambassador, Mr Nasser al-Muzayyan worked on strengthening and developing Russian-Kuwaiti relations. Thanks to his work, Russia Muftis Council has built productive relations with Kuwaiti state organizations and NGOs, who assisted in implementation of projects and programs organized by Russia Muftis Council.
