The elections of the Chairman (Mufti) of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of European Russia for the next five years took place at the 6th regular Majlis meeting of the organisation on September 21 in Moscow. Spiritual leader of Russia's Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin was unanimously re-elected as the organisation's Chairman.

Delegates and guests of the Majlis congratulated the head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims with his re-election and wished mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin further successes.
