An open Meeting of the Muslims of Europe "Unity in Diversity: Searching for the future together in Europe" took place in Brussels, capital of Belgium. It was opened by the speech of the Turkish Minister of Religion Mr Mehmet Görmez.

The conference is attended by more than 300 delegates, including the heads of the Muslim communities of Belgium, Turkey, Russia, Greece, Croatia, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Kosovo, Poland, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Austria, Bosnia, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus and other countries.

Russian Muslims are represented at this important event by the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council, spiritual leader of Russian Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, who will deliver a report on the topic "Experience and legacy of the Muslim tradition of Russia".
