Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of European Russia are inviting journalists to take part in IX Muslim Forum "Socialization of the Ummah in the Strategy of Developing Civil Society", which will take place on December 9, 2013. Muslim Forum is an event held annually to discuss the important issues of the Muslim community of CIS countries in the context of domestic and global processes.

IX Muslim Forum will be devoted to the topic of socialization of the Ummah—patriotic education of youth and the revival of Russian Islamic theological school. These theses became the leading points of Vladimir Putin's speech during his meeting with the heads of Spiritual Administrations of Muslims in Ufa in October of this year. The key speaker of the upcoming forum is the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

IX Muslim Forum is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation, Ministry of Science and Education of Russian Federation, Ministry of Regional Development of Russian Federation and the Civic Chamber.

The accreditation for mass media starts at December 2 and ends on December 6 at 4 PM. Accreditation request should include full name and surname and passport details of the journalist, photographer or member of the camera crew as well, as the list of filming equipment.
