Palestine thanks Russia for support in many areas, according to the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al-Maliki.

He stressed that Russia is a very close friend of Palestinian people.

"We thank Russia for all the efforts in many areas," said Palestinian diplomat.

According to him, there is a "big political gridlock" in the Middle East at the moment.
