Mufti of Crimea Emirali hajji Ablaev expressed his deep gratitude to the head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin for his support to Crimean Tatar Muslims in a decisive time for the future of Crimea in 2014.

During his speech at the 10th International Muslim Forum in Moscow on December 10, 2014 in Moscow, head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea told how Crimean Tatar people integrated into new political realias after incorporation of Crimea into Russian Federation. "We were able to weather through this period in a decent manner," said mufti.

Speaking about mosque arsons in Crimea, head of the spiritual administration made an assumption that these acts were carried out by agents provocateurs so that, in response, "Muslims would go and start burning mosques [temples of other faiths]". "We answered: We won't respond to provocations. Where one mosque was burnt, we'll build ten new ones, and we won't touch the temples of other faiths," said mufti. Hajji Emirali Ablaev especially stressed the role of mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin in the prevention of fracturing and conflicts this year. "Thanks to the support of sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, we managed to avoid bloodshed and weather through the difficult period in a decent manner," said Crimean mufti.

Chairman of Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin has repeatedly visited Crimea this year on the invitation of Emirali hajji Ablaev to promote dialogue and mutual understanding in Crimean society.
