Under the auspices of Russia Muftis Council, Qur’anic reciter and hafiz, student of Kazan hafiz education center Abdurrahim Lutfullaev took part in 21st International Qur’an reciting competition in Cairo, capital of Egypt.

Russian hafiz took an honourable place in the top ten in the nomination “Memorization of the whole Holy Scripture.”

The event took place between April 5 and 10. It was attended by more than 100 huffaz from 43 countries.

After the contest, Russian contestant received diploma from the hands of the Minister of Wakuf of Egypt, Dr Muhtar Jomga, and a representative of Al-Azhar University.
