At the invitation of H.E. Kazem Jalali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation (RBM), took part in celebrations marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Mufti Rushan Abbyasov conveyed greetings and congratulations to the Ambassador on behalf of the Chairman of the RBM, Grand Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, and noted the significant pace of development in Russian-Iranian relations, which is largely facilitated by the close contacts and ties between the leaders of the two states.

He also noted that, supporting this vector, the RBM is actively developing interaction with relevant government agencies, religious, and public organizations of Iran.

In conclusion, Mufti Rushan Abbyasov expressed confidence that Russian-Iranian relations will continue to develop harmoniously across various spheres.
