On the blessed Friday afternoon of Juma namaz, the Chief Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with Mr. Hammam Al-Hinai, Advisor to Sultan of Oman Haysam bin Tarek Al-Sayyid, who is in the capital of the Russian Federation with His Majesty Sultan Haysam bin Tarek Al-Sayyid, Ruler of the Sultanate of Oman, on a state visit.

The spiritual leader of the Muslims of Russia, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, told the trustee of the Omani ruler about the life of the Russian Ummah, the development of Muslim spiritual institutions, with special emphasis on the traditions of inter-religious cooperation and good neighborliness in the Russian state.

The Head of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation emphasized that the state visit of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman, H.H. Haysam bin Tarek Al-Sayyid, to the Russian Federation and his invitation to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to visit Oman on a return visit opened a new page in the relations between the two states.


The sides expressed satisfaction with the developing cooperation between the spiritual and religious institutions of the two countries and exchanged memorable gifts.
