Islam hazrat Dashkin, mufti of Penza Oblast, took part in an international conference in Kuwait at the invitation of First Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Dr Adel al-Falyah, on the delegation of Volga Region Muslims.

In the course of the five-day visit, the delegation met with heads of local educational institutions to discuss the question of Russian students obtaining education in Kuwaiti universities.

Khaliji Muslims were curious to learn more about their northern kin; they were given booklets, videofilms and magazines with information about activities and projects of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Penza Oblast.
