Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin supported, on behalf of the RBM RF, the draft law on banning advertising of tarotologists' services, as well as the idea of banning Satanism in Russia. Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin has said that the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation supports a bill banning advertising of tarotologists' services, as well as the idea of banning Satanism in Russia.

‘We support this bill,’ he told RIA Novosti. - Because it is aimed at protecting spiritual and moral values, which are the basis of Russian society.’

The head of the Russian RBM recalled that Islam, as well as other traditional religions, has a negative attitude to the occult, fortune-telling, predictions and Satanism. They qualify them as phenomena destroying the spiritual health of a person and society. In his opinion, such ‘practices’ contradict the principles of faith, morality and ethics, which are close to millions of Russians.

Gainutdin stressed that banning the propaganda of such services and movements is an important step in strengthening public security and preserving our country's traditional cultural and religious heritage.

The Mufti also noted that he shares the opinion of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on banning Satanism.

Before that, Patriarch Kirill, speaking at the Christmas Educational Readings, said that he supported the initiative to ban Satanism as an extremist movement.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Andrei Svintsov submitted a bill to parliament proposing a ban on advertising tarot services and the use of mechanisms to identify and block Internet resources containing such information.
