Tonight Muslims will celebrate the holy Night of Miraj.

In 2025 this holiday fell on the night of 26-27 January according to the Gregorian Miladi calendar and with the sunset today Muslims enter this significant Night.

The celebrations in mosques will begin after evening namaz on 26 January and will continue until dawn on 27 January.

 Laylat al-Miraj is an important event in the history of Islam that marks the journey - the Night Carrier - of our beloved Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Jerusalem, as well as his ascension. This took place on the Gregorian calendar in 621 AD, and Muslims around the world mark the event with prayers.
