At his residence, the chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin met with a large delegation from Turkey, who arrived specifically to discuss further cooperation in the construction of the new complex of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

The parties discussed the final stage of construction and finishing works, including questions internal design of the main mosque of Russia.

The Turkish side was represented by Prof. Mehmet Pacaci, Director-General for External Relations of the Ministry of Religios affairs of the Turkish Republic, Professor Bunyamin Erul, deputy dean of the University of Ankara, Professor Irfan Aycan Director-General of Religious Education in the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey and other senior officials of ministries of Turkey.

Russia Muftis Council was represented at the meeting by deputies chairman of RMC and Religious board of Muslims of the European part of Russia: Damir hazrat Gizatullin, Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, Damir hazrat Mukhetdinov Mustafa hazrat Kutukcu. The conversation was of a friendly, yet businesslike manner and brought satisfaction of both sides.
