The International Quran recitation competition started in Bahrain. This year the event will be held from November 27 to December 5.

Russia in the competition is represented by is a native of Dagestan, a 14-year-old Bilal Abdulkhalik. Despite his young age, Bilal has participated in regional competitions of recitation of the Quran and already represents Russia in international competitions.

In addition to the competition, the participants are waiting for a cultural program dedicated to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
