The State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan proposed changes to the Federal Law "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations"

In the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Alexander Torshin a meeting of the working group of the Advisory Board to the Chairman of the Federation Council on International Relations and Cooperation with Religious Associations took place.

During the meeting, participants worked on the issue of implementation of the State Council of Tatarstan the draft law on amendments to Art. 15 and 24 of the Federal Law "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations."

The meeting of the working group and discussion of the initiative of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia and the Religious board of Muslims of European part of Russia Haris Saubyanov.
