RMC Deputy Chairman Mustafa hazrat Kutukcu who is presently in Sarajevo attending the inauguration of the new Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of the RMC chairman, yesterday paid a visit to the newly elected Mufti of Bosnia Hussein Kavazovic.

At the meeting, which lasted for about an hour, the parties exchanged views and discussed some common issues. Deputy Chairman of the RMC passed to Bosnia and Herzegovina Muslims written congratulations and a gift from the head of the Council of Muftis of Russia, and invited the Bosnian Mufti to visit Russia. Mustafa hazrat informed Mr. Hussein Kavazovic of life and activitiees of Russian Muslims and presented RMC print and video production. Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Hussein Kavazovic expressed his approval of the way the Muslims of Russia move after the Soviet collapse when they in a short time were able to organize and develop effective actions. Mufti also said that in some areas there is space for active cooperation between the Bosnian and Russian Muslims.

Mustafa hazrat in turn informed the Bosnian mufti that between RMC and religious organizations of Muslims of some states agreements on cooperation had been signed and e offered to time signing such an agreement between the Islamic Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council of Muftis of Russia for the solemn event Mawlid an-Nabi in the early 2013. Bosnian Mufti also highlighted the achievements and successes of local Muslims, the system of religious education etc. After the formal meeting Mustafa hazrat had a tour of historical places and educational institutions in Bosnia.Then the guest visited of office of "Bir Radio", which opened in the building of the Islamic Council, where Hazrat Mustafa got the information of the radiochannel work  from his editor Razia Piticha. Mr. Pitich in his talk said that the new radio channel, there are 24 hours broadcasting on FM line, covers a large number of listeners of different faiths by the fact that it is not limited to religious programs. Hazrat Mustafa, in turn, informed of the impending development assistance to launch in December, the Internet-project "MIR Radio".
