XIII Moscow International Quran Reading Competition under the patronage of
the Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and
supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has come to an end. For two weeks
representatives of 34 countries of the world competed for the title of the best
Hafiz. The world famous readers and the Hafiz Quran from Turkey, Saudi Arabia,
Malaysia, Yemen and Russia were invited in the current bench of the competition.
Only seven participants passed the qulairfying round to take part in the
final competition: they are Abdulla Allaeddin Owis El Korani Ali (Egypt), Malek
Abdulmalek Ahmed (Yemen), Khader Al Marsi (Jordan), Al Qarafi Abdullah
Abdulmohsen (KSA), Mohammad Al Bakr (Kuwait), Mussa Hossam Eldin (USA), Marzuk
Hussem (Tunisia). But as far as such an event as the Moscow International Quran
Reading Competition is concerned, participating is winning in itself. All the
contestants were worthy and passed to hundreds of people of different
nationalities and confessions the sacred word of God.
The first prize of the XIII Moscow International Quran Reading Competition
was awarded to the Tunisian Marzouk Hussem, who also received 150 thousand
rubbles in prize money. The second prize and 100 thousand rubbles went to the
Yemenese Malek Abdulmalek. Mohammad Al Bakra from Kuwait got the third prize and
60 thousand rubbles.
The winners of Moscow International Quran recitation competition were given
diplomas decorated with exquisite Egyptian crystals. In addition, one of the
participants - Al Qarafi Abdullah Abdulmohsen won a special cash prize of 30
thousand rubbles from the International Center of Standardization and
Certification "Halal" of Russia Muftis Council.
All the participants of the XIII Moscow International Quran Reading
Competition were awarded prizes and certificates of
participation.
