The Vice-President, Chief of Staff of the Russian Muftis Council and Rushan Abbyasov and Director of the International Department of the RMC Renat Abyanov took part in the gala evening to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people. The Evening was organized by the UN Information Centre in Moscow, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Russian Federation and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The RMC chief of staff said in his speech that for Russia Palestine was always a good friend and equal partner, and said: "In light of recent events that happened in the Muslim Middle East, Russia has been and remains a supporter of non-interference of third forces in the internal affairs of States and also makes every effort to stabilize and improve conditions in the region. "
