The Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin as a head of the RMC and DUMER delegation took part in Forum and gave a vivid report, which reiterated the aspirations of Muslims of Russia, conscious of themselves as citizens of their country and part of the Ummah, to consolidate the efforts of the World Islamic community: 

"Our destiny in the future depends largely on how honest imams are in relation to their service. If religious leaders are wrong to interpret the religion, laying in their sermons mercantile interests of one group or another, mazhabs, trends, it will inevitably lead to an escalation of the conflict."

"It seems the output of traditional religious and government institutions from the crisis of relations with the younger generation in a return to fundamental principles of leadership, laid down in Islam. It is based on the Qur'anic verse: "Verily, the Prophet Muhammad was for you as a model for imitation." Following the example of our Prophet (peace be upon him) in such qualities as morality, piety, honesty, and strict adherence to the agreements and consistency in their performance, patience, humility, erudition and impeccable personal culture of behavior."

The congress was held in Astana with the direct participation of the leader of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. "Here, in Astana, the IV Congress of world and traditional religions, we took another step to ensure that peace, harmony, global tolerance, mutual understanding and mutual respect of religions were in the XXI century as outlook values ??of all the people in the world" - President Nazarbayev said adding: "Once again, thank you for that by your presence at our Kazakhstan air you once again highlighted the peace and harmony in our country, because in prayers spoken in our country you have expressed wishes for the eternal welfare of Kazakhstan and all Kazakh people all over the world and prosperity on our planet."

"It seems promising to hold the study in the future on the establishment of a special committee of the Council of Religious Leaders, which would make recommendations to the UN, all interested forums and states and to address global issues of conflict reduction," - President Nazarbayev said, closing the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
