At the residence of the Russian Muftis Council the Chairman of RMC Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with the newly arrived in Moscow Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Galym Orazbakov and Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Krymbek Kusherbayev.

This is the first conversation of the Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council with Mr. Ambassador, but at the meeting, its participants reaffirmed  a long-standing acquaintance and complete satisfaction with the development of friendly relations between Russia and Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador expressed his confidence in the inviolability of friendly relations and spoke about his correspondence impression created by the spiritual leader of Muslims of Russia Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, due to those thoughts that are heard in the speeches of Mufti and his sermons.

Krymbek Kusherbayev confirmed the high evaluation of the role of spiritual leader, saying: "The whole of Eurasia listens to your voice and words, Mr Ravil hazrat, the people of Kazakhstan also sees you as their spiritual mentor and this is a great responsibility."

Participants noted the particular importance of spiritual revival in the market economy, designed to create decent living conditions for people.

Guests got acquainted with the construction of a new complex of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The Mufti said that Kazakhstan also took part in this ambitious project, promising to allocate finances to construct and decorate facing stone on the exterior. Mr. Ambassador and Mr. Advisor said that if necessary to decide certain questions of construction the RMC can turn to them for support.

Chairman of the RMC said that a long-standing friendship between the peoples of our countries, exchange of delegations and meetings allowed us to build mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of the peoples.

 "The countries - is not only territories. These are in the first place nations and peoples of good-neighborly relations between our two neighboring countries over the centuries are the relationships of partners and friends," - Ravil Gaynutdin said, stressing that "Kazakhstan - has always been and now is a reliable partner of Russia and its leadership is making efforts for the strengthening of brotherhood and unity of our peoples.”

Ravil Gaynutdin assured the guests in the deep respect felt by the Muslims of Russia to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and expressed his sincere respect to him. He praised the efforts of the Kazakh leadership for the development of interreligious dialogue. Mufti congratulated the guests with holy days of Ramadan, and asked to convey my most sincere wishes for the grace of God and the prosperity to the people of Kazakhstan and the country's leadership.
