Russian and Turkish Muslims cooperate in the cultural field On Wednesday, 31 March, the deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Rushan Abyasov, met with the Director of the Moscow office of the Yunus Emre Institute and the Turkish Cultural Centre, Professor Dr. Omer Ozkan.

The meeting was also attended by Omer Faruk Savuran, advisor to the Turkish Ambassador for Religious Affairs in Moscow, and Rais Yanglichev, assistant advisor for religious affairs, Renat Abyanov, head of the Department of Culture, and Guzel Mubinova, deputy head of the Department of Culture.

The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Department of Culture and the Turkish Cultural Centre and joint activities in the field of culture.
