Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Religious Boards of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council, expressed the condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Vienna:

On behalf of the Religious Boards of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Russian Muftis Council and all our employees, I would like to express my deepest condolences to Austria and all its people due to the terrorist attack in Vienna. We all strongly condemn such atrocities, regardless of the criminal's motives.

We share the pain of those who have lost their loved ones in these attacks and pray for the health of the injured ones. We ask Allah to grant peace, security and mutual consent to all peoples and to destroy terrorism, this horrendous thing that ruins people's lives.

May the Almighty save all people of good will and help us establish peace.
