The representatives of the international department of the Russia Muftis Council — its head Ildar Galeyev and the expert Arthur Gubaidullin — met the deputy head of mission of the Embassy of Pakistan, Muhammad Aftab Chaudry.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Russia Muftis Council introduced the programs and projects of the RMC and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, which are being implemented both in Russia and abroad. The deputy head of the mission expressed hisinterest in the participation of Pakistani hafizs in the Moscow International Quran Reciting Competition, which has been held in the Russian capital for almost two decades. In addition, he expressed a willingness to conduct a calligraphy exhibition of a Pakistani artist's works in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.
