On Monday, February 18, Rushan Abbyasov ( First Deputy Chairman of the Russia Mufties Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation) met Polina Pekova, commercial director of InterCHARM exhibitions; Alexander Bogza, organizer of Russia Modest Fashion Week; and  Margarita Maltseva, PR and event manager  at the RELX Group .

The meeting was also attended by Guzel Mubinova, Assistant Head of the Office, Coordinator of Moscow Halal Expo, and Eduard Khamidullin, Head of the Halal Certification Department at the RMC Halal certification and standardization centre.

The parties discussed cooperation between the Russian Muftis Council and Reed Exhibitions. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in exhibition activities and to conduct business forums and programs related to halal industry, both in Russia and abroad.
