Rushan Abbyasov, First Deputy Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, met Mirko Kruppa, Head of Political Section at the Delegation of the European Union to Russia. The meeting was also attended by the Imam-Khatyb of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, Islam Zaripov.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rushan Abbyasov welcomed the guest and conveyed greetings from the religious leader of Russian Muslims, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin. The first deputy chairman of the RMC thanked Mirko Kruppa for the visit and his interest in the life of Russian Muslims and their activities and discussed the current state of affairs.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to have a guided tour of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque in order to inform the delegates about the history of Islam in Russia, as well as the life and social activities of Russian Muslims.
