Rushan Abbyasov, First Deputy Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, took part in an event dedicated to the 242nd anniversary of independence of the USA upon a personal invitation of the US Ambassador Jon Huntsman,.

During the event Rushan Abbyasov conveyed greetings and congratulations on behalf of the head of RMC and RBMRF, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, to Mr. Jon Huntsman.

It should be noted  that this January a US delegation led by the Ambassador visited the residence of the religious leader of Russian Muslims in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, where the parties discussed cooperation for the sake of maintaining peace and harmony.
