Halal tourism prospects in Turkey discussed in RMC A delegation of The Qasr Bodrum Halal Resort tourism holding led by its director Murat Erdogan visited the Moscow Cathedral Mosque on 8th December. The delegation members met Rushan Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia. The meeting was also attended by Ali haji Gurdin, general director of Muslim Tour (tour operator of the Russia Muftis Council, and Ismail Gindullin, expert of the International Department of of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia.

Murat Erdogan spoke about about the services offered by The Qasr Bodrum Halal Resort holding, which provides the whole range of halal family services, and described its infrastructure. The resort is located on the north of the Gökova bay in the Aegean Sea, in the city of Bodrum. The holding provides all service classes, taking into account the needs of all age categories. The service package includes halal meals, separate beaches for men and women, waterparks for children, entertainment activities, lectures and workshops.

The parties discussed close cooperation in different fields. The Qasr Bodrum Halal Resort service package will soon be available at the official tour operator of the Russia Muslim Council — Muslim Tour. Besides, the participants discussed the possibility of cooperation with HalalGuide, the first Islamic navigator in Russia.

Rushan Abbyasov expressed hope that cooperation with Turkish partners in the area of halal tourism will be beneficial for the Russian ummah, since formation of a developed infrastructure for Islamic tourism and recreation is one of the topical issues not just in Russia, but also all over the world.
