Muftis Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin is attending the reception organized on behalf of the Russian president in the honour of the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy mosques.

The event is taking place in the Alexandrovsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Prior to the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy mosques, the King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, to Russia, the chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia had been interviewed by the First TV channel of Saudi Arabia.

During the interview mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin spoke about cooperation between Russian and Saudi Mulsims, the activities of Russian Muslims and the projects organized by the RMC and the RBMRF.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the visit of the King of Saudi Arabia to Moscow was a milestone event that would encourage cooperation of the two countries.
