The employees of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation attended the event devoted to the liberation of Mosul from the ISIS terrorists.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Iraq in Moscow. It was also attended by a special representative of the President of Russia for Middle East and Africa, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Nizar Khairallah.

Ildar Galeyev, head of the International Department of the Russia Muftis Council, while speaking to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iraq in Russia, Mr  Haidar Mansour Hadi, conveyed the greetings from the leader of Russian Muslims, mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin. He also congratulated the leaders and people of Iraq on successful campaign against terrorist organizations.

In his turn, the Ambassador thanked the guests for participating in the event and noted that the Embassy of Iraq in Moscow encouraged the dialogue between Russian and Iraqi Muslims.
