Today by the instruction of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, his first deputy Rushan hazrat Abbyasov met Dr Hamed Hassan Merah, Secretary General, head of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

Madina Kalimullina, RMC chief of staff advisor for economic affairs, also took part in the meeting.

The meeting took place within the framework of events devoted to the presentation of the Russian translation of the AAOIFI shariah standards, which was implemented in accordance with the Memorandum on cooperation signed between the RMC and AAOIFI in 2015.

The project has already been presented in Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.

Today, befor coming to the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, Dr Hamed Hassan Merah conducted a successful presentation of this significant project in the bank of Russia.

Dr Hamed Hassan Merah handed to the first deputy of the mufti the translation of the AAOIFI shariah standards issued in Bahrain.

During the meeting the parties expressed their intention to further develop productive relationships in financial area and to strengthen ties between our countries.
