Russia muftis Council and Cbonds Information Agency, the leading information resource covering fixed income markets in Russian and the CIS, are proud to invite you to take part in an international conference “Development of Islamic Finance in the CIS”, which will take place in Almaty on March 11, 2010.

The conference will take place in the framework of the annual Kazakhstan Financial Forum, one of the main financial markets events in Kazakhstan held since 2006. The conference is expected to gather over 200 delegates, among them representatives of financial institutions, corporations, and government bodies of Kazakhstan. Delegates from Russia and other CIS countries are also expected to take part in the conference. The conference is supported by RFCA (Regional Financial Centre Almaty) and Financial Institutions’ Association of Kazakhstan.

The conference “Development of Islamic Finance in the CIS” is designed as one of the first events dedicated to the development of Islamic finance in the region. Among the conference delegates there will be representatives of financial institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, other CIS countries, the Middle East and Asia specializing in Islamic finance, as well as representatives of international agencies for Islamic finance, government bodies of Kazakhstan, Russia and the CIS.
