Following the joint Friday prayer, the Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Grand Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, received the renowned Russian UFC athlete Sharabutdin Magomedov (Shara Bullet).

On June 27, 2026, Sharabutdin Magomedov defeated Brazilian fighter Pereira at the UFC Fight Night 280 tournament in Baku.

Grand Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin warmly congratulated the athlete on this significant achievement, noting his contribution to defending the country's sporting honor and raising the Russian flag on the international stage.

The spiritual leader of Russia's Muslims emphasized that Sharabutdin Magomedov's success continues the glorious traditions of titled Russian wrestlers and all-round athletes.
