Please accept congratulations on winning the presidential re-election of the Arab Republic of Egypt on behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Russia Muftis Council and on my own behalf. The election outcome has confirmed the great confidence the citizens of your country have in you.
The Arab Republic of Egypt plays a significant role not only in the Middle East and Africa, but also at the global scale. There is no issue in the region that can be resolved without Egypt’s participation.
Egypt is also important for millions of Muslims in Russia as a mine of Islamic knowledge and science. Over the centuries many of our clergymen have studied in the world-known Islamic university “Al-Azhar”. Today our imams also have degrees from different Egyptian Islamic institutions.
I am sure that after re-election you will add a new dimension to your diverse and fruitful activities for the benefit of the people and the state, as well as the development of bilateral relations.
