A round table devoted to the discussion of Halal tourism industry will take place on June 6 within the framework of fifth Moscow Halal Expo exhibition.

This exhibition is Russia's largest annual halal event. It is expected to be visited by more than 10,000 visitors, over 500 companies and 20 exhibitors from Russia and the CIS countries, as well as Southeast Asia, Iran, Turkey and other countries. The exhibition will host the following thematic sectors: food products, tourism and services, perfume and cosmetics, style and textile, public catering, health and sport, education and publishing, finance and investment, services, media, art and decoration. Tourism and services sector will present tour operators and halal service companies from Russia and abroad.

Due to the growth of the number of Muslims, demand for halal production is also growing. But halal products and services are popular not only among Muslims, but also people of other creeds and viewpoints, since halal products are known for their high quality and halal services are based on mutual respect and just cooperation. Halal tourist sector is increasing its market share each year; key tourist markets have already shown serious interest in Muslim tourism. And still, the potential of halal tourist market is hardly fulfilled, while the demand continues to grow.

The round table on halal tourism will be devoted to the following issues:
- Analysis of the modern state and growth opportunities of halal services market;
- Rules and requirements of halal services certification;
- Formula of successful work with Muslim tourists;
- Additional opportunities to attract and retain Muslim clients in tourist sphere;
- Halal services;
- Discussion of the pressing issues of the industry;
- Exchange of opinions between countries;
- Developing mechanisms for future development of the industry in our country.
