In the course of the Russian-Moroccan business week, an agreement on bilateral cooperation in the sphere of development of halal industry was signed between ASMEX and Russia Muftis Council on the 4th of December in Casablanca, economic capital of Morocco.

The memorandum was signed by ASMEX president, co-chairman of Russian-Moroccan Business Council Mr Hassan Sentissi and the head of RMC economics department, director of Moscow Halal Expo Madina Kalimullina.

Association Marocaine des Exportateurs exists for more than 30 year, and it has initiated the creation of Halal Producers Club, the protocol of which was signed in the end of September this year. ASMEX is also one of the organizers of Halal Expo International in Morocco.

"During our visit to Morocco, we had an opportunity to meet the managers of several halal enterprises. Their example shows that both retail chains and hotels can successfully and competitively comply to halal requirements," said Madina Kalimullina during the signing ceremony.

"Halal market is a new concept of doing business for progressive-minded people; this is the business of the future," said member of ASMEX council Mr Abdullah Yacoubi.
