An official ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between Russia Muftis Council and the Muslim Religious Council of Poland will take place on the opening day of V annual international exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2014.

On behalf of Russia Muftis Council, the document will be signed by the spiritual leader of Russian Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, while the Polish party will be represented by Mufti Tomasz Miśkiewicz.

This document will be signed for the first time in the history of the two nations, and will hopefully lay foundation to the future brotherhood. The memorandum consolidates the efforts of Polish and Russian Muslims in development of common spiritual, educational, cultural and economic programs and halal projects.
