Muslims of Russia grieve with the families and close ones of the victims of a tragic accident in Soma mines in Turkey.

While on the conference of spiritual leaders of European Muslims, Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin expressed his condolences to the minister of religious affairs of Turkey Mr Mehmet Görmez, and sent the following words to the people of Turkey:

"With deepest grief I express my condolences to the whole Turkish nation due to the tragedy in the city of Soma which took the lives of more than 200 people. I share the pain of loss with the families and close ones of the dead. May Almighty Allah show His limitless mercy to the souls of our religious brethren, and give patience and strength to their families. We pray that the rescue teams save as many lives from under the debris as possible, so that fathers, sons and husbands returned to their homes. Verily, we belong to Allah and to Him is our return!"
