An elimination round of XIV Moscow International Qur'an Reciting Competition took place in one of the halls of Korston Hotel in Moscow.

RMC deputy chairman, chairman of the organizing committee of Moscow International Qur'an Reciting Competition Rushan hazrat Abbyasov greeted all the guests and participants of the event on behalf of himself and the spiritual leader of Russian Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, and wished success to all the participants.

This year's competition for the title of best hafiz gathered participants from over 30 countries. The strict jury board, which includes famous huffaz from Russia, Turkey, Sudan, Iran and Lebanon, will base their judgements on the knowledge of the Holy Qur'an, rules of Tajweed and performance.

Only five best huffaz will compete in the final part of the competition.

World famous Qur'an reciter Abu Bakr Shatri will share his experience in a master class.
