A session of the organizing committee of XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition, headed by RMC Co-Chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, was held in Russia Muftis Council.

Members of the organizing committee informed of the course of preparations for this event, and told of one important innovation: for the first time in the history of the contest, tickets will be available not only in kiosks near Moscow's mosques, but also online at Concert.ru and in all mobile stores of “Euroset”.

The contest will open on September 15 in Concert Hall “Rossiya”. It is organized under the patronage of Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and under the auspices of Moscow City Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The contest will bring together well-known reciters of the Holy Qur'an from over 35 countries, including Great Britain, Netherlands, Tunis, Yemen, Bahrain, Bulgaria and many others. A special guest of the event is the famous hafiz and Qur’an reciter Abu Bakr Shatri. The contest will be held in nomination “Hifz. Recitation of Qur’an by Heart”.
