On August 4, 2013, a try-out round among Russian huffaz will be held within the framework of “Ramadan Tent”, an event organized by Russia Muftis Council and traditionally held near Moscow Memorial Mosque in the last 10 days of Ramadan. This event will determine the best reciters of Qur’an who will take part in XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition that will be held on September 15 in Concert Hall “Rossiya”.

The prerequisites for participation are: Russian citizenship, recommendation of regional Spiritual Administration of Muslims, and age between 15 and 35.

The round starts at 19:00. All potential participants are encouraged to send application forms to dfarmc@gmail.com. We will review applications sent before and on July 31.

XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition, organized under the patronage of Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and under the auspices of Moscow City Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, will be held on September 15 in Concert Hall “Rossiya”.

The contest will bring together well-known huffaz from over 30 countries. It will be held in nomination “Hifz. Recitation of Qur’an by Heart”.
