The delegation of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Russia Muftis Council headed by the first deputy chairman of the RMC, deputy chairman of the RBM of the Russian Federation Mufti Rushan Abbyasov arrived in Egypt for a working visit. The delegation included Renat Abyanov, head of the Department of Culture of the RBM of the Russian Federation, Ilshat Salakhutdinov, leading specialist of the Department and director of the publishing house "CHITAY", and Stanislav Tokarev, expert of the Department of Public Relations of the RBM of the Russian Federation.

During the visit the delegates will conduct a number of events, including the opening of the International Exhibition "Islamic Traditions in Russia".

This exhibition represents one of the most important projects of the RMC at the international level, as well as an effective tool of religious diplomacy. It allows Russian Muslims to familiarize their fellow believers with their culture, traditions and everyday life, strengthen the authority of Russia in the Islamic world and attract tourists.
